Wendy White
Wendy White was appointed to the Role of Director of Education for Wrexham Diocese in September 2019.
Previously she had worked in Catholic education for 34 years across a number of schools in the Liverpool Archdiocese. She was Headteacher of 2 secondary schools including a very large 11-18 school and was also an Executive Headteacher of three further schools.
She is also an LLE (Local Leader in Education)
One aspect of Wendy's role in the Archdiocese o f Liverpool was as part of the Educational Strategy Group for five years looking at all aspects of schools, governance and development in a Catholic context.
Wendy has also been firmly embedded in primary education across a number of schools and not least in being married to a Primary Headteacher!
Wendy works for the Diocese three days a week during term time - predominantly Tuesday - Thursday but on a flexible basis.

Primary Advisor
Colette Owen
Colette Owen was appointed to the role of Primary Advisor in January 2020.
Previously she had worked in Catholic education, for 39 years, across a number of primary schools in the Wrexham Diocese. She was headteacher in two of our primary schools over 28 years.
Colette works for the Diocese for one and half days each week, term time, on a flexible basis.
